Menorca

Menorca, Spain

Menorca is the quietest and most unspoiled of the Balearic Islands. The island is known for its varied coastline of turquoise coves (calas), white sandy beaches, and rugged northern shores, set against an interior that remains largely agricultural. In 1993, UNESCO designated the island a biosphere reserve, a status that has placed lasting restrictions on large-scale development.

Buyers are drawn to Menorca for its tranquillity, its relatively low population density, and the authentic character that the larger Balearic islands have largely lost. Access via Maó airport is seasonal, with connections running primarily from northern Europe. That seasonality also shapes rental yields: demand is heavily concentrated in the summer months.

The property offer typically consists of detached villas and rural estates (fincas) in the interior, apartments in the historic centres of Maó and Ciutadella, and homes close to popular coastal towns such as Fornells and Son Bou. There are currently no active listings available within this network.
