Carvoeiro is an attractive freguesia (parish) and town in the Portuguese municipality of Lagoa, located in the Algarve.
Carvoeiro began as a small fishing village, but in the 1960s it underwent a significant transformation and grew into a popular tourist resort. This growth was partly driven by the natural beauty of the area, with impressive cliffs, caves and beautiful beaches in the immediate vicinity.
