Schruns, Montafon

Schruns is the largest settlement in the Montafon and serves as the commercial and administrative hub of this Vorarlberg valley. The municipality has a population of around 3,500 and combines a compact village centre with quieter residential areas along the valley edges. Its position at the foot of the Silvretta Montafon ski area gives Schruns a distinctly alpine character.
