Deerlijk is a quiet residential municipality in the south of West Flanders, situated between Kortrijk and Waregem. Home to around 12,000 residents, the area has a distinctly rural feel, with a mix of detached villas, semi-detached housing, and a handful of small-scale residential developments along the main access roads.
